Once again this year, MIEC Ichinoseki will be hosting the “Gaming & eSports Meetup” at the Senmaya Sake-no-Kura Community Facility in Senmaya-cho, Ichinoseki City, Iwate Prefecture, to coincide with the Senmaya Night Market. The event will run from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
This meetup is a place for participants to engage with each other while enjoying eSports, retro games, board games, and more. Gaming PCs and nostalgic consoles like the Famicom will be available for free play. Feel free to bring your own gaming devices and join in the fun and camaraderie. Participation is free, and everyone, from children to adults, is welcome to join in. You’re also welcome to bring your own food and drinks, including snacks available at the Sake-no-Kura Community Facility’s shop or beverages and snacks purchased at the night market.
The venue, Senmaya Sake-no-Kura Community Facility, is a cultural exchange facility utilizing the historic Yoko-ya Sake Brewery Sato family residence, a registered tangible cultural property. Located on the first floor of the main house, a beautifully crafted wooden building made from Zelkova, it provides an excellent space for gaming and socializing.
